No, jk, he gets what you're aiming for. His eyes rise to the crowd again, and he watches them thoughtfully (!! yes, thoughtfully even. yes he's capable of it.) ]

These people... Those of your world... [ He nods in the direction of the happy laughing party-goers surrounding Tony. ] They are so much more than we Asgardians led ourselves to believe. [ Thor shakes his head. ]

To see them like this, strong even after such tragedy, happy to have survived along with their loved ones, and free to do as they please - it reminds me why I have sworn to protect them.

Thanks. I'd have done it myself a while ago but that uh... program Stark keeps in his house won't let me near it. Or out of the house unless I wanted to smash a window or something, which I don't... yet.

All right, so... [where the hell is the garage in this huge place?] the staircase seems like a good bet. One of them should get us there, anyway.

Down the stairs they go and aha, they picked the right one because here's the nice glass wall with the complicated Tony-modified keypad. Gesturing to it, he says,]

You know, I'm starting to seriously dislike those things. Whatever happened to plain old locks? [He's asking... the guy who probably doesn't use locks...] Anyway, this is the main problem right here--if we just crash through the glass every alarm in the place will go off if Stark's as protective of his machines as I think he is, and obviously we can't just pick it.
