[Jim gives her the once over, making a note to introduce himself once he's done here. He's heard Tony is a genius and he really must be if he can tell Jim prefers blondes just by looking.]

[he's been told gentlemen do. he, himself, is not a gentleman, since he's got himself one killer redhead, but that's neither here nor there, and most of the time, said redhead doesn't care, so it works out well]

Jim Kirk. [He's keeping this whole 'future person' thing to himself for now. It's a party, and hopefully Scotty'll have him home by morning.]

I hope you don't mind me crashing your party like this- I was in the area and I thought I'd check it out.

Hey, it's not a party until it's good enough to get crashed. I take any and all uninvited guests as the highest compliment. Have you tried the shawarma yet? Excellent stuff, I got it from this Arabian place in Encino.

Not yet. Is it... food?

[He guesses? Spock would know.]

Sure is. It's like ... a wrap sandwich, only a little weirder. And harder to pronounce. And harder than that to spell. But it goes really well with beer, I'll tell you that much, and that's kind of the biggest thing that counts by the time we're all said and done here. [he's already steering Kirk toward the bar and buffet. COME AND DRINK WITH HIM]
