[He shifts the drink to take her hand smiling. Oh it's alright really they'll have time to get used to well each other and that little thing. Considering Tony wants to introduce him to the Ways of the World Outside India. Or some such thing.] Pleasures all mine Ms. Potts. [And he can't help the slightly vague gesturing to the room at large.]

Did you know about all this or...? [Or does he make it a habit of springing parties on people at random?]

[She chuckles] Oh I didn't have much notice before anyone else did, I'm afraid. When Tony gets it into his mind to do something... [She shrugs]

He burst into my office rattling off a list of things he needed for the party while having Jarvis email invitations to everyone he knew. [And yet she doesn't look entirely displeased with the situation.]

[He's really not surprised at that. Which is why he's chuckling as he lets go of her hand.] That's not so much of a surprise really.

Do all his parties involve such a spread or is this a special occasion?

Hmm. There's more food here than his usual parties, but other than that?

[She looks around at the drunken mischief, the live DJ, celebrities and superheros all drinking and mingling.]

Nope. This is a typical party. [She smirks, wryly] If Tony doesn't have a special occasion he makes one up.
